What happens after I make an enquiry?

1. Initial Consultation & Waste Assessment
Once we receive your enquiry we will try to understand your specific needs. If you have not provided enough information we may need to reach out to obtain the information that we require.

Depending on your requirements, we may need to schedule an initial consultation to assess the type of regulated waste you need to dispose of. If necessary, our team may:

  • Visit your site (if necessary) to inspect the waste.

  • Identify and classify the waste based on Queensland's Waste Reduction and Recycling Act 2011 and the Environmental Protection Act 1994.

  • Discuss your disposal requirements, including the quantities and types of waste, and any compliance documentation needed.

We’ll work with you to ensure we understand the full scope of the job, ensuring a smooth process from start to finish.

2. Tailored Waste Management Plan

Once we’ve assessed the waste, we’ll develop a tailored waste management plan. This plan will include:

  • Waste classification: Determining whether your waste is classified as hazardous or regulated under Queensland law.

  • Transport logistics: Safe and compliant transportation options, including using licensed waste transport vehicles.

  • Disposal methods: Using environmentally responsible disposal methods, recycling where possible, or ensuring safe disposal in accordance with state regulations.

  • Documentation: We will ensure that proper paperwork is in place, including Waste Tracking Certificates and manifests, to comply with Queensland's waste tracking system.

3. Compliance and Documentation
Regulated waste disposal in Queensland requires strict documentation to ensure compliance. We’ll guide you through:

  • Waste Tracking: We’ll complete all necessary waste tracking requirements, including ensuring there is a waste tracking certificate and submitting the details to the Queensland Waste Tracking System. This ensures that your waste is correctly documented and tracked from your site to its final destination.

  • Regulatory Reporting: We’ll handle any necessary reporting to authorities to ensure you remain compliant with EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) regulations, ensuring you’re meeting your legal obligations.

  • Certificates of Disposal: After disposal, we’ll provide you with the appropriate certificates or manifests, confirming that your waste has been disposed of responsibly and in accordance with Queensland’s environmental laws.

4. Waste Collection & Transportation

Once everything is in place, we’ll arrange for the safe waste collection from your premises:

  • Safe packaging: We’ll ensure that all waste is securely packaged and labeled for safe transport.

  • Licensed Transport: Our experienced team will transport your regulated waste using licensed vehicles that meet all Queensland requirements for the safe handling and transportation of hazardous materials.

  • Timely Pickup: We’ll schedule a pickup time that works for your business and ensure minimal disruption to your operations.

5. Environmentally Responsible Disposal

The next step is the disposal of your regulated waste. We make sure to:

  • Follow all legal guidelines: All waste is disposed of in compliance with the Environmental Protection Act 1994 (QLD) and other relevant laws.

  • Safe disposal options: Depending on the type of waste, it may be treated, recycled, or sent to a licensed disposal facility that meets Queensland’s environmental standards.

  • Sustainability: We prioritize sustainable practices, aiming to minimize the environmental impact of your waste.

6. Ongoing Compliance Support

After the disposal, if required we are able to offer services for ongoing support:

  • Periodic Waste Reviews: We offer consultations to ensure your waste management practices remain compliant as regulations change.

  • Record Keeping: We maintain detailed records of your waste disposal for future reference or audits, so you’re always prepared in case of regulatory checks.

  • Consultation for Future Needs: As your business grows, we can help you navigate future waste management needs, including larger volumes, different types of waste, or additional compliance documentation.
